Who we are
Seansım provides booking and business software (Seansım Salon, Barber, Vet, Therapy, Dental and Tutor) and this website. Contact for all privacy matters: info@seansim.com.
Seansım is in the process of company registration. The legal entity name and registered address will be published here as soon as registration is complete; until then the service is operated by its founder.
Two roles
Controller: for this website and for the account details of businesses that use our apps (name, e-mail, phone, billing).
Processor: for the data a business enters about its own clients, patients or students (appointments, notes, contact details). The business is the controller of that data and decides how it is used; we process it only on its instructions. A data processing agreement (DPA, Art. 28 GDPR) is available on request.
This website
www.seansim.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Fonts and images are served from our own host. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and operation, on the basis of legitimate interest.
What we collect and why
When you contact us by WhatsApp or e-mail: your name, contact details and message, to answer you and, if you ask, to set up an account (steps prior to a contract).
When you use our apps: account and billing data to provide the service (contract) and meet tax and accounting duties (legal obligation); data your business enters, processed on its behalf as described above.
We never sell personal data and do not use it for advertising profiles.
Where data is stored and international transfers
The main application database is hosted in the European Union (AWS, Frankfurt). Some service providers (application hosting, transactional e-mail, AI-assisted drafting, WhatsApp) may process data in the United States or other countries. Where data leaves the EEA/UK we rely on adequacy decisions or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate safeguards. Data is encrypted in transit and access is limited to authorised accounts.
How long we keep it
Account data for as long as the account is active, then as long as tax and accounting law requires. Business data is deleted or returned when the business closes its account, unless the law requires otherwise. Messages to us are kept only as long as needed to handle the request.
Your rights in the EU, EEA and UK (GDPR / UK GDPR)
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, and object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO). If your data was entered by a business that uses Seansım, contact that business first; we will help it respond.
United States (including California CCPA/CPRA)
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. California residents can request to know, delete or correct their personal information and will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Requests can be sent to the e-mail above; we may need to verify your identity.
United Arab Emirates (PDPL and DIFC/ADGM)
For users in the UAE we process personal data in line with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. Businesses in the DIFC or ADGM can request a processing agreement that reflects the DIFC Data Protection Law No. 5 of 2020 or the ADGM Data Protection Regulations. You can request access, correction or deletion and object to processing using the e-mail above.
Türkiye (KVKK)
For users in Türkiye, Law No. 6698 applies; see our Turkish privacy notice.
Children
Our services are for businesses. Students using Seansım Tutor do so through their tutor; tutors working with minors are responsible for obtaining parental consent where the law requires it.
Changes
We update this notice when our services or the law change and show the date below.
